Walls

There is a wall made with stones of uncertainty bound by the dry mortar of hurt wounds and uncried tears. When you get close you can feel rage reverberating from that fortress place. Because reason whistles through its gaps and says 'the fault is yours.'

The wall prevents you from crumbling when there is nobody else to support you.

No one reliable or safe, no one with lazer vision to see through the tough shell.

The one you had to build to protect your heart.

Like a turtle you've created a protective armor that has felt like home, when there was never a sense of home- not really. No protective arms that held you in belonging without taking.

Even when you were little, a wize part whispered and said "not this, you deserve greater care, more consideration, you deserve protection." Home should be a place to dwell and take refuge.

Over time it became nessicary to create a fortress and you learnt to be fierce and began fighting battles.

Ones with a battle cry calling "This is not fair, do better, be better!" Your howl still reveberates through public forums and spaces... let the little one be seen, lets lift each other! Lets begin to create arms that hold each other.

As the ones that hurt you have become that same breeze that carries your cries, the wild call of your soul for justice, for balance.

Ask that they carry with them the weight of the burdens they created.

And take heart.

For all the weight that arrived apon your shoulders in your bones...

For it has reinforced the strength of the little one who should've been uplifted and carried. As it is she that now sits at the turrets of your fortress announcing to the softening breeze... "I will protect this soft body of my heart, until she is held in safety and love, because I always knew what she needed".

And in every knowing, in every recognition may that which felt like a wall of burden. Be recognized as wall of love...because it was needed.

The walls of the heart are no treasonous place, they are fortitude from reason, which cannot enter the hearts knowing.
